The SHC allows the scaling of energy storage systems in parallel operation. Here, the quality of individual battery cells is irrelevant.

The system is preferably suitable for "second life batteries", since the different internal resistance, cell quality and characteristics are irrelevant.

The AC/DC converter converts a 3-phase AC voltage at the input into a DC voltage at the output (adjustable via CAN bus). This is galvanically isolated.
